婴灵属于未出世、流产、堕胎、胎死腹中的婴儿灵魂，也称水灵子。若婴灵不超度便难以往生、无依无靠、会跟着或产生怨气，骚扰父母。婴灵甚至也会影响家人及未来的孩子。超度婴灵除了消除怨气，也希望婴灵早日往生、离苦得乐。
Unborn babies includes those from miscarriage, abortion and still birth.
