度岁金 Aged Fund For The Needy (CNY Hongbao)

度岁金含着“平安度新岁”的意思，也是华人的新春传统之一。当我们有福报过着平安丰收年时，也不忘慈悲初心，在佳节时期利益众生。 本林度岁金活动在多年来，不但让贫苦众生也有机会感受春节的温暖，也在这喜庆的期间方便捐款大众广结善缘、修持慈悲、增长福田，也为社会大众尽心尽力。度岁金是由新加坡佛教居士林福利基金颁发。新加坡佛教居士林福利基金是一家公益机构 (IPC)，能够为符合条件的捐款发出有税务回扣的收据。

Since 1949, the Lodge has been giving out Chinese New Year (CNY) Hongbao to the needy before the Chinese New Year period. This bring joy to the needy and let them feel the warmth as they have not been forgotten by the society. CNY Hongbao distribution programme is managed by the Singapore Buddhist Lodge Welfare Foundation which is an Institution of a Public Character (IPC). The Singapore Buddhist Lodge Welfare Foundation is able to issue tax deductible receipts for qualifying donations to donors.
